I have been pretty sick lately. Seems an infection in my throat, nose, and ears. Has hindered me from getting much done. I DID sell my Ebay items though! Ended my auctions at $89.96. Success! I placed a new batch of items up last night; hope they fare as well. I've been going to rummage sales and getting items to put up. The best items I've gotten yet have been gymboree childrens clothes for a $1.

Also, Democracy Now (http://www.democracynow.org/) just exposed me to a fantastic author: Eduardo Galeano. He wrote "The Open Veins of Latin America". The book that Argentina president, Hugo Chavez, gave to US President Barack Obama. Galeano read excerpts from his new book, "Mirrors: The Story of Almost Everyone". He also spoke on his feelings of the current and past state of the world. He was extremely intelligent and eloquent, and moved me with his anti-authority viewpoints. Also, he brought up an event that is being planned for October 2nd; a worldwide march to protest war and the industry of death. I'll post more later.

Good news. Almost all of my ebay items are going to sell! People will buy anything. Well, now it's time to take that money, and go to some rummage sales for more ebay treasures. This is addicting. I feel like a 70 year old woman. My goal is to get 20 comments, and start an ebay store. WOOT.

As I sit here drinking coffee, I wonder how the day will go. I have a magic tournament at 5pm, I have to call some job places back, and I must read up on html and play guitar. Sounds like I'm pretty busy....but WAIT! I just bought a pair of electric scissors, and I'm drinking instant coffee, and I am going to microwave all of my meals today, and I don't need to go to far to communicate with any of my friends (the ones in my head); so I should have an extra 10 minutes at the end of the day. FUCK YEAH.

Redeeming my CSR soul

Well, I broke down and decided to reapply at The Company Store. But, in order to work there again I have to fill out a "reconsideration form". Could I feel any more degraded ? So, here is what I wrote.
"Dear Michelle Wilcox,

My name is Aaron Williams, and I am applying for re-hire consideration at The Company Store. I have worked at The Company Store three separate times throughout the past 10 years. The last time being the fall and spring of 2005-2006. I worked on Chris Utecht's team, and enjoyed great success with sales. I was one of the top on the team for sales, and attended every team meeting. The reason for my being let go was for attendance issues. I was sick twice during my tenure, and late a few times. This resulted in my exhausting of employee attendance points. At the time of my employment, I had an unstable living situation. My roomates were very disruptive, and ended up leaving me with trying to pay for the whole rent, and find suitable replacements for them. I also did not have a reliable means of transportation. My van was in a constant state of disrepair, and I did not have a bike. This did not bode well for my work production. All of these factors made it for a very tumultous attendance record.
The reason I am reapplying for the telephone service representative position, is because I enjoyed working at The Company Store. I exceled at my assigned tasks, and made friends with my co-workers. I now live with my girlfriend, and have a stable form of transportation. My customer service skills are exemplory, and my work ethic has proven to prosper since last working for TCS. I hope that this letter will achieve the goal of redemption for my past mistakes.

UGH, AHH, BLAH....I feel as if Satan has raped me in the ass. Well, I kind of liked it; and most of that is true. So cheers to being rehired for a mundane cubicle job. YAY.

This morning I was supposed to borrow the 'rents van and get some tasks done, but my Mom was busy. So I had to wake to a phone call from the western wisconsin loan service, asking me if I was prepared to pay. I promptly said no. Here is some background:
After a year and a half of continual harassment for my money (which has never existed in copious enough amounts to pay them), I finally had some funds to start paying them 50$ a month and try to get out of default. So, I give them my account number, and my bank routing number, and two months later....THEY HAD TAKEN NOTHING! All because the lady who worked there forgot to enter some numbers correctly.
Now I can't enroll for fall classes, and I am not making proper income to start the 50$ a month program. Though, they have the tenacity to call me up and claim it is my fault. They will get money when I have it I guess. Until then, out of sight, out of mind.

OMFG I FORGOT 2 POSTZ

Ok, sorry people, (the one person who follows this), I forgot to post yesterday. Everything is ok, I'm not dead. Just busy meditating and chilling with Emily.
There were some awesome job leads on the Trib today; and I shall try to attain them, as depleted as my employment morale is. On money talk though, the mailman brought me some small Ebay boxes yesterday; now all I need is some ink and packing tape, and I will be shipping out useless shit all over the country. I will give link to my ebay name when I post, maybe you want some of this stuff.
Has anyone ever heard of the West Memphis 3 ? If not, or if so, you should go here and support them WM3. There was just a revelation in the case. Appearantly, "Kent Arnold, the foreman for the Echols-Baldwin jury, telephoned the prosecuting attorney repeatedly while the trial was in progress and talked about what was happening. Judge David Burnett, who officiated at the trial, expressly forbade such discussions. Lawyers for Echols argue that Arnold's conversations with Warford compromised the integrity of the jury process and that Echols deserves a new trial."WOOOOT. This is great news. These boys deserve a new trial. If you can, send a post card, or a letter in support of the WM3, and in support of a new trial for these youth of a broken system. I'm going to print mine out as soon as I get my printer ink.
My last topic for today is the President. Mr. Obama continues to display himself as a tool of the ignorant congress. He has a flacid spine, and does not stand up for what he preaches. Sorry, but we NEED to release the photos of abuse, and we don't NEED to bail out banks. Time still shall tell, but I feel good in my vote for Ms. McKinney.

Today will consist of: Maybe helping Laura (Emily's mom) fix her computer, and letting the day take me where it may.

Emily stayed at her mom's house last night. I was lonely.
This morning, the news speaks of Chrysler and GM closing dealerships across the country. Guess this is blowback for the Gov. not "bailing" them out. You know, while the Federal Reserve is socializing the banks and thinking about socializing the automobile industry, we the people are left to our own devices for our health care. Oh, our jobs could pay for it, but seeing how they are more than likely taking a hit also, that is going nowhere fast. So I say, BAIL US OUT FEDS! Socialize healthcare! Single payer now! Join every other industrialized nation! ....Sorry, I forgot, that isn't profitable.
